Commenting on the OFT's announcement of its provisional case against Visa regarding their interchange fee, Liberal Democrat Shadow Trade and Industry Secretary, Norman Lamb MP said: "We welcome the Office of Fair Trading's statement of their findings on the interchange fees charged by Visa. There has been serious concern for a long time that consumers have been bearing the brunt of these hidden costs. We hope that this will bring about a better deal for the consumer."
